Deutcshe Bank has a nice little racket. I recently canceled my card. There were around 4000 shopping points on the account which translated to around Rs.2500 due to me. I asked Deutsche Bank to refund those points and send me the cheque before canceling the card. They just canceled the card and did not refund the points/ money. Now when I call for my money they say the card has been canceled and nothing can be done and they refuse to acknowledge my request for a redemption of money/ points before cancelation. For a second if I had forgotten to redeem my money, isn't the card company supposed to refund the money anyways?
We though Germans were honest, so much for honesty.
