DISH TV VC CONTROL BOX IS NOT WORKING

While taking for service since DISH TV VC CONTROL BOX IS NOT WORKING, the service prvovider asked me to replace the box. The asked me Rs.1000/ for replacement of the box. I purchased the box one year back i..e Apr.2008. I have the subscription amount just now. Kindly make alternative arrangements to replace the box. Please look in to this and do the possible solution
