Hi,
I have booked a Maruti Swift Dzire (Lxi-Black) on 22-09-08 from Durga Motors Pvt. Ltd (Full address mentioned below). He promised to deliver me the car by 8-10-08.When i called up on the day of delivery, he kept on postponing the date and finally he promised to give a car by 25-10-08.But now he says he cant give me my booked car as maruti stopped manufacturing black dzires (its tough to believe that a company like maruti will stop manufacturing one of its advertised cars in the colours its promising to give) and is asking me to take the advance back or take another car which is a Dzire Silver.
This issues are,
1.He shouldnt have promised me a car on 8-10-08 when he couldnt deliver it.
2.He dosent keep me updated on my status of the car. I always have to call them back and he keep on postponing the date everytime.
3.As i have paid an advance amount to him, and he is not delivering a car, its a interest loss.
4.Even the maruti customer care has stopped responding to my complaint. This should not be expected form a company like maruti which is known for its service
In case of other dealers i was told upfront that they couldnt deliver the car in a short time and it would take 1 month or more to get my car. But in this case he promised to deliver the car and was kept on postponing when he knew that the car couldnt be delivered in time.
