Name in deletion list

I got my new voter's ID card 3 months back. But the address in the card was wrong.

When I went to correct the address, they have told that my name is missing from the list. Finally, found that my name was in the deletion list.

No one came to make verification and they have just deleted for no reason.

I am not the only one. I am residing in an apartment in Coimbatore. They have not even bothered to come to the apartment for verification of voters list and just deleted the names from the list.

I am not sure what reason they have provided for deletion.

Officers in this duty have to be warned and even the election commission have to take due steps to make sure that this doesnot happen in the future.

I am very much concerned about the government authorities in India who are very very careless as they think that people in INdia have nothing to do and they have surplus time so that they can spend their time in running behind these government authorities to get their job done.

Even to find that my name was in deletion list, i had to visit these election authorities more than 5 times and called them several times.

This makes me feel bad about our country compared to rest of the world.
