I puched a microwave oven (Elctrolux - 21 lits) from Great Eastern Trading, Kolkata. The turntable syncronous motor has become faulty after 18 months. When contacted with service agent, a technichian came around, charged me inspection charges (Rs.280/-) and brought a motor from the the local market, which is not getting fitted in the position. He says, he will get another in 2 days time and replace it.
My question is, how is it that the service agents are unable to get genuine spares from Electrolux for replacement. How do I know that I am charged reasonably. This agent, I feel, is like a local shop working on his own without any support from the Manufacturer.
