External Hard Disk
External Hard Disk not being accessed via USB

I bought external hard disk WD1600E1MS-00 SERIAL NO. WXE708A21427

It worked fine for the last few days say 10-15. Now on the same Machine with Windows XP OS, it shows on the Task Bar as connected but it does not show in the My Computer as Removeable Disk Drive.

Whereas on the same port, other Pen Drives as well as other external hard disk drive work fine.

We tested this at computer computers also and we found the same problem.
