Dear Sir / Madam,
I purchased FLY 2040L mobile set from The Mobile Shop in Connaught Place, New Delhi on 26 Feb at a cost of Rs. 4349.
The Cell Phone was suggested to me by my colleauge and hence I bought the same.
From the very first day itself the phone started giving problems. While talking the cell phone would just go off with a few minutes. I got it checked from The Mobile Shop and they refused to help out in any way and just said that Fly only wouild do the needful. On the contary their staff at the Cash Counter said that their job is only to sell the product irrespective how it preforms in the market. The shop is no more responsible for the product once it is sold.
I sent the set with my office boy to the Service centre Nehru Place to have the battery checked and the person there - Ms. Archana flatly refused to accept the phone and instead said that the battery backup of the phone is only 30 minutes. This is really an abnoxious answer as if I would have known this earlier I would never have bought a Fly Mobile. How can any cell phone have a battery backup of only 30 minutes.
I really feel cheated by Fly with regard to the product bought. These foreign companies get into India and cheat the citizens by selling these kind of Substandard things with the feeling that they can get away with it.
I am a salaried person and cannot keep affording to buy these expensive gadets on and off. I have no FAITH in Fly and will never recomend any of its products to people whom I know.
Also The Mobile Shop is also cheating consumers by promoting such gadgets which are not perfoming well in the market. They are also not helpful incase of any complaints.
Hope this report will help in either replacing my cell phone or giving me full refund.
