PF not released

Dear sir,

I have left my organisation last in the Month of April i have sumitted my PF papers to my previous employer in the Month of July when i have not recieved any information i just started following the same, i came to know that PF office At chennai has recieved my papers on 10-11-08 under the reciept No:28308213.But till date it is not settled.please advise me what to inthis regard.should i Claim the delay time from my Previous employer or not, please suggest.

My PF Details are TN/40262/44.
