I wish to bring out a company before you which is looting the consumers and the general public. And yet, no one is able to stop them from doing it. After all, they are doing it so legally
My father took a loan of Rs 15000 from GE Money due to some financial emergency. After a few days, we got the letter from them in which, it was stated that, we will be charged at a whopping 43% interest
Can you imagine? 43%. Yes, they have and they are doing it
I felt very bad as it is a big loss and I immediately collected Rs 15000 from my relatives and went to close the account. On meeting them, they said that we can not close the account for 6 months. It was again such a fraud play. They would eat heavy interest in these 6 months and loot the consumers
Helplessly, we paid 6 EMIs of Rs 1104 each. Thus, we had paid Rs 6624
And now, when we went to close the account, we were asked to pay Rs 15800. Yes, Rs 15800 for a loan of Rs 15000 for which we have already paid Rs 6624
Can you imagine the rae at which we are being charged? I immediately sat on the PC and put up and excel sheet to find out the rate of interest. And to my shock, we were charged at 73.5% interest. My father cried. Yes, he did. Even I was hit maximum by seeing all this. We are already into a lot of problems and such a loot by financial institutions was really hurting
On enquiring with them, we were given some meaningless explanations. Helpless in this situation, we had no other go but to continue the EMIs
Are there any people who can help me in this matter? Is there anyone to listen to our grievances? What should we do to resolve this issue? Its such a fraud way of looting the consumers and that too an institution like GE Money. Further, we were also tortured by one of their goonda type executive when one of our EMI was bounced due to certain problems. He came and sat in our home and did not get up from there till we paid him. We had to borrow money from our home owner and neighbours to send him away. You can imagine how we must have felt at this moment
Please, for God's sake, stop this harassment and also this way of looting the customers and hurting them. You might earn money and become rich. But the customer's curses will not let you be happy
