This is a repeated experience from this Skoda Service Station at Gurgaon (Giriraj Motors). They would take the vehicle for servicing, give you an estimate & delivery time, which would never be met & even after that, the car delivered, would still have unfinished jobs.
With me, my Skoda Octavia bearing No. HR26Z5106, estimate made-up for the service was stretched to around Rs. 30, 000/. That also, the service engineer Mr. Deepak Gupta while making the estimate telling one fan is not working, I showed him it was working & was new, then he tells me the belt has to be changed, where as I had got the belt changed few days back by Silvertone Help Line. Such were the by force estimate stretched to Rs.30, 000/ and delivery promised to me in three days.
After 3 days, I started following-up for delivery of my above car..Mr. Gupta says it is nor ready. After the 5th day he says to come & collect the car. I reached their service station in the evening, then he tells me the Battery is week, he took me to show the Battery getting charged. After that co-incidentally I went to my car & on opening the bo-net, I see the car battery is very much fitted in the car & car was not washed, engine was as dirty as it was left, inside up-holstry was not dry-cleaned as ordered. I don’t know how I was called to take the delivery. When external items were not done-up how one could say for the internal work. I called the Manager & other senior staff to give my mind, I also called on their Director or President and related him the story, he told me he would get back..
Next day (after 7th day evening) when again I went to Giriraj Motors to beg for my car’s delivery, to my surprise the earlier THIRTY THOUSAND Rupees stretched estimate, turned into billing of SIXTY THOUSAND Rupees. I used all my credit cards to pay-up, when I drove out for few kilometers, I could make out the Engine noise, with heavy shivering of engine till the Steering wheel & rear tail light not functioning. Immediately I call-up the concerned service engineer Mr. Deepak Gupta, he tells me to get the car again some time. I also threatened him, I would get your work done checked by the Skoda people, you people are cheats, his objective was to make much higher billing to 70~ 80 thousand… he wanted to change a lot of internal items, where I put my foot down to stop it here. Where I never experienced with other service stations of Skoda like Silivertone etc. As a customer am a sufferer, I also observed lot many other customers were also quarreling for some thing or the other.
