As per the offer price the product cost to Rs.11990/- inclusive of all taxes, installation and all. In addition to this LIFE TIME WARRANTY will be provided after purchase. It was clearly discussed FRESH PIECE should be supplied from MEGHA.

I received the CHIMNEY on date 23/06/08 at my residence without the original packing, without the operational manual, no documents were provided regarding the serial number of the equipment. There was a good sticker on the Chimney indicating the serial and all details.

When we enquired about these papers the sale man tells there is no problem and you will get the original Invoice, warranty card and the manual within 5 days. As per the sales man these papers has to go to the Glen factory for verification and stamping of LIFE TIME WARRANTY, that was the reason it has been taken out from the box at office itself.

We thought it is a reputed company there should no problem. But even after 21 days we didn’t get the Invoice/warranty card, etc. Than we contacted the sales man with the answer it will take another one month.

When we go in detail we found that it was a DEMO piece that’s why there was no documents in side the box. We also found the specification on the packing box is also fake and is not matching with the other original boxes kept in the Megha showroom.

Then we move to their head office at Vaishali, they behaved very well and apologize for the inconvenience and promised to deliver all documents within a week.

After 4-5 days we received only the original invoice No. 518-08-09 dated 23/06/08, through courier. When enquired about the manual and the life time warranty they told it will come by courier separately. After 7-10 days we received one courier from M/S Megha, containing one Manual and a form for Life time warranty form. This warranty form has to be signed by me and to be sent to Glen factory at Faridabad directly as per the instruction of the Megha staff. Both manual and the warranty form were of some other model & serial number, which has been changed manually by Megha staff, to our model and serial number. When we asked about the same, we get a reply the original one is misplaced and this will serve the purpose and you will not get any problem regarding service and all.

Any way, I signed the form and sent to M/S Glen, Faridabad, by courier details Z77910055 dated 19/08/08 by DTDC.

Again I received a letter from Glen Faridabad, with a reply “ we are in receipt of the life time warranty form but the photocopy of the INVOICE is not attached. And the serial number is overlapping, so please provide the original document and your phone number so that we can make the warranty approved.”

This letter I had received on (around 22/09/08). As I was traveling to Egypt these days I was not able to reply. I came back from Egypt on 15/09/08 and then I couriered all the required documents to M/S Glen on date 30/09/08 by DTDC courier no. Z78853325. Next day I received a call from Glen (Ms. Purnima) stating there is no original manual from the dealer. Then I brief all above realty to him. She told me you don’t worry this is clearly dealers fault and we will give you the life time warranty at any cost.

But again I made hundreds of phone calls to M/S Megha and M/S Glen regarding this but at last M/S Glen (Me. Purnima) has raised his hands and said M/S Glen cannot do anything in this regard as it is totally dealers fault and you have to settle it with the dealer. She even did not connected me to her senior officials.

At present the status is lying as it is.

Please suggest me how to make a legal cheating case on M/S Glen and M/S Megha, so that can never think to cheat there customer like me. I am ready to spend any amount to punish these companies. For evidence I had kept everything safe with me like the packing box in which I received the Chimney with the specification slip, courier receipts, the news paper aid for the price and the life time warranty offer, etc, .
