PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND not QUALITY PRODUCT

I got a GODREJ PENTACOOL DOUBLE DOOR refrigerator last year. The bad part is within 1 year (about 10 months) i found that there were a type of insects both in THE DEEP FREEZER and the other part. THE product that time was under warranty period.

So then I started calling up GODREJ and explaining them the issue. But it took me about 5-10 times to get a person visit and see the freeze at least.

Then finally one day, a Godrej person came and looked for a little time. He first concluded that its due to the CUSTOMER not closing the door for which insects go inside.

I told him that its really absurd if a CUSTOMER puts by THEMSELVES insects inside their OWN FRIDGE.I then ASKED him... that HOW CAN ABOUT THOUSHANDS of INSECTS BREED inside a deep freezer?

I told him that please have a look carefully and showed about THOUSANDS of these insects breeding in the FREEZER FAN.

When i had discovered about this the FIRST TIME, trust me I WAS STUNNED seeing this.

It made me feel that it can be possible that there is some MANUFACTURING/TECHNICAL issue for which the FREEZER dint function properly as it should have done.

This could be a reason for these insects creating an inner environment for breeding.

After saying all these also, the response from the person wasn't anything positive. I insisted that it was under the warranty period and hence GODREJ should look into this.

I then asked him that what does GODREJ do if there are issues in their products within the WARRANTY PERIOD?

Still not so positive response, more or less you can say.

I tell them to at least do the servicing once for a full check, he tells me that I SHOULD TAKE THE REFRIGERATOR to the GODREJ SERVICE CENTER.

This also stunned me fully because WHEN PEOPLE GO TO BUY A PRODUCT, its usually told to us that if it gives problems and within the warranty period, then Companies usually fix this issue fully from their side if the issue was due to a probable manufacturing issue.

BUT from GODREJ, this type of response really made me change my VIEW for them.

The last option was that... they would send their people to clean the refrigerator at my house but THE CUSTOMER HAS TO FULLY PAY FOR THAT.

I THEN FELT THAT I DINT HAVE ANY OTHER OPTION but only left process to get it cleaned by the customer.

I CAN ONLY SAY THAT ITS REALLY SO PATHETIC WHEN SUCH COMPANIES, IS IN FACT VERY DIFFERENT ONCE THEY HAVE SOLD THEIR PRODUCT.

SO FRIENDS YOU CAN VERY WELL UNDERSTAND THE SO CALLED DEFINITION OF THESE COMPANIES OF "CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE"..IN A WORD.."TERRIBLE ".

I ALWAYS WISH THAT NO ONE SHOULD HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THEIR GODREJ PRODUCT THAT THEY MIGHT BE USING&&BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE CAN BE SO PATHETIC THAT YOU WOULD WHOLE LIFE ALWAYS SAY.."WHY DID I BUY"?
