This is very unfortunate the CITI Bnak people are after the customre at the time of giving them credit card and thereafter they are left on the mercy of the unseen ghosts (ON ROUTENE BUSY PHONE NUMBERS).

I am credit card holder with No.4568228805289009 for past 10 years. I have purchased one item of the amountof Rs.2445/ and dropped a cheque in the box put up in CA market Salt Lake Kolkata. Cheque No. was 395159 SBI, Chowranghee. Last date of payment was 11.6.2008. While updating my bank pass book I found that this cheques has not been debited. Accordingly, I have informed the SBI, Bank for stopping the payment today. However your citi phone officer could not help me trace out this cheque, when I contacted at 12.30 pm on 17.6.2008 rather she suggested to get this cheque cancelled and drop a new one.

Its very in convenient CITI bank has not kept drop boxes afterasking customer. If they cant keep a track of the cheques then why they are making us fool? Stop this practice andcome out with some foolproof system.

It has caused me great inconvenience and therefore, I wish to surrender your card forth with.
