Dear sir,
I have opened an account savings in your Bank, D 48/141 Ishwar Towers, luxa road,
Varanasi, through ur senior sales officer Mr. Vaish Khan. He has opened my account without the initial which I keep usually in all my accounts, all my document which I have given for reference was correct and the name was wrongly writte.. I have consulted regarding this with Mr. Vaish Khan and he advised me to open another account in saving and I have opened the new account also in the same branch through Vaish Khan. I have requested to close my first account which I had opened account no. 4681000023443 and I have submitted all my chequebook, debit card and the whole kit which bank has provided me and told them to close my account and credit the amount in my new account no. 4681000025681 on 7.8. 2007 . I have again visited on 11.9.2007 to the same branch the account is not closed on 11th, the same day I met Mr. John the branch manager and he told me that it will be done within the next day itself then the same day I met Mr. Saurabh Maharaj assistant manager and constantly called him several times and every time I call the answer I get is today it will be done. Till today I have checked my present account and the money is not been transferred and my account is not closed yet.
Even the bank persons who took my documents has not given a receipt also. In any bank if u close an account the time maximum is taken is half an hour. I will close all my accounts in HDFC and inform all my collegues and also give information to local media agents in Varanasi, how the bank like HDFC works in Varanasi.
The ATM provided in the Lanka, is always out of order the AC doesn’t work and all our international students who use VISA cards mostly use ur ATM in lanka. Customers like us are finding it very difficult the man who sits there mentions that no care has been done by the bank so far because of interrupted electricity, no generator, nor ups is provided there. In this conditions most of the customers of our University may close their account because of ur service to the customer and I will definitely inform to media people how irresponsible is the funtiions of the bank. How long I will have to wait to get my amount transferred to my new account.
Hope u will take necessary action regarding this.
