I had ordered a DD on monday through phone banking.
i was promised that i will get the DD on tuesday evening.
The DD didnt come, When i checked with them again on tuesday evening, they said the deadline for delivering the DD at home was till Wednesday.
i didnt received the DD on wednesday as well.
so, i lodge a complaint in phone banking again.
i was taking a regular followup with them on daily basis. but there is no reply. they keep throwing me from one desk to other. the amount was the maximum that i could ask for through phone banking.
i need that money urgently.
since the money has been converted into DD, i am not able to use it. and at the same time beneficiary is pressuring me for the payment.
the bank coldly says we will update you on the daily basis, but they have not contacted me even a single time. rather i have lost considerable amount in making phone calls.
The bank says they will respond within 7 days but i can not wait that long.
please guide me what should be done.
is monetary compensation possible from the bank? if yes, how should i go about it?
i plan to change the Bank due to poor quality of service. But at the same time i want to lodge the complaint for the same. Please let me know how should i go about it.
