Salary Account Not Activated Yet

My company had opened a salary account (Ac No: 01401140011014) with HDFC Bank, RT Nagar Branch, Bangalore. Almost a month back they had collected all the required documents (credit card statement as address proof, PAN card and photographs), and according to them account was suppose to activate with in 5 working days which has not happened for next 10 days. I called and informed them the same, then they said they need my credit card!!! okay i provide the xerox of the same. Today again I spoke to them they say the credit card statement got expired (If someone keep one statement for one month under their pillow, by the time next statement generates) so they need the latest one. Again asking for 4 working days... I have absolutely no idea when it is going to happen.
