Unnecassary charges

Hi,

I had opened an HDFC savings account thru reliance money, during account opening i have been told that it will be a zero balance account, but this month bank has deducted some 827 rupees from account stating as fine for not maintaing minimum account balance.

when i contacted bank's customer service they told to maintain Rs.10, 000 as minimum balance where as branch officials said it will Rs.2500, it is really frustating and dont know what to do?

one thing i will do is i will close the account but i know this will solve the problem, HDFC bank will cheat other customer.
