Was in the process of getting a new car loan from HDFC.These guys after approving the loan want a signature on a form stating that 'i have defaulted on the payment and my car can be taken away'...when i objected to this they say that if one doesnt sign this then they cannot disburse the loan even though they are taking 3 cheques as security. Would like to know if other banks do the same thing.
