I have a HDFC Credit Card from past 2 years. I have been a prompt payer and never delayed my payments. I do not use my Card for any internet transaction due to fraudulant activities. But somehow, due to the Banks insecure website, there was a transaction of 5000 amount done on my Card via internet. I contacted the Customer Care as soon as I saw this charge and they asked me to send a fax. I sent the Fax and they responded saying that they are investigating. However, all they did was gave my case to a collection agency who harrassed me to pay for something which I have never done. I told them many times about the dispute but they are so arrogant that they never listen to customers. One of the worst customer service. Then I wrote a letter directly to the Credit Card department and they responded saying that I have done the transaction. Please note that they did not provide any proof for the same. Any person can write on a letter pad and say that you have done something which do not actually prove that it is done by me. Finally they put a hold on my Savings account for the Credit Card charges. When I contacted there Credit Card divison asking for proof they just denied saying that they do not have any proof. One of the worst Customer service you can ever get.
