Hewlett Packard
Defective NVIDIA Chip

I purchased an HP laptop model no dv 2910tx worth Rs 50000 on 21st October. The laptop was working fine but was becoming overheated in first 15 days. I contacted the E-Mart for you, the shop where I purchased the laptop. They told that it is a hardware issue. And they told me to take it to HP Care. Then I took it to hp's authorised service centre Digital Care Pvt Ltd. located at Shahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar, Orissa. They kept my laptop for a month. They replaced the entire motherboard and then when I got my laptop then again I faced the same problem. Then this time I gave my laptop to another HP authoised Service Center R T Outsourcing, located at Bapuji Nagar, Bhubaneswar. There they kept my laptop for 17 days and again the motherboard was replaced. But still I am having the same problem.

When I searched the internet about this problem then I found some articles like "Defective NVIDIA chips in HP and Dell Laptops". Not only me but almost everyone who has purchased laptops containing nvidia chip, is facing problem. I am just wondering what will I do after my limited warranty.

Warranty extension will not help because a consumer cannot go to the service center everytime. The only solution is that HP should refund the money that I wasted on purchasing the laptop.
