I am Swarup Nath from Barrackpore, Kolkata.
I have a pureit water filter at my home a product of Hindustan Lever.
My customer id with the firm is 1926418031. I went to the outlet to get the battery kit and microfilter, but I was declined as because of no stock. After that I tried several times on telephone but failed as the customer care center was always busy. Later next day when I did get the customer care people they said that the price have been increased from Rs.330/- which was promised during the time I bought the filter to Rs.550/-. As I have no option other than to buy the fkit in higher price. I requested for a battery kit (Filtering unit) on 2 May. I was promised to deliver the same in three working days. But today (8th may) one delivery boy called me up and asking me for the address which is written clearly but he cannot trace out. And finally it was not delivered.
During this time we have to drink water without purification and this is only because of mismanagement of Hindustan Lever to deliver the product and also they have failed to keep their promise. Without the battery kit the filter is just a container and of no use for storing water. If in this stage they cannot supply us the cartidge I worry about future.
This total shows how this organisation is disfunctioning, no discipline, not customer friendly, inspite of reminders no action taken. When they need the product to be sold they make promises which are never met by them.
My family and me have been drinking water from various other sources though we have a special water filter of hindustan lever (pureit) I request all of them reading thrugh this mail to rise up to the occasion to support me against the company.
