Pathetic customer service

This is a subject of abject misery that a company like Hindustan Unilever takes no guarantee of the products sold and make its customer suffer without any rectifying support. I bought a PureIt filter from the compnay franchise in first week of October. My mother got the installation done. The sales guy installed a defective piece with bottom portion of filter leaking profusely which we got to know later. The sales personal did not even showcased entire flow during demo. in the evening when we lodged a complaint at customer service they promised to send a technician. The series of calls at customer care and with the sales guy 'Dilip Kumar' continued for 15 days. finally the technician name 'Dushyant' came and certified that the bottom part is broken. It has been another 1 week and I have not yet heard from anyone from the company. Dilip does not pick up the phone and Dushyant puts everything on his head. The worst was today mornig when finally Dushant agreed to send some other person. He kept me and my husband waiting for 2 hrs and still when called asked for another 45 mins to reach our home. I am really frustrated with the quqlity of their product, the recklessness in the attitude of support team and the insincerity. I will definitely report it in customer court and would like to warn all the prospective users about probable consequences. Please make a wise choice for this utility item.
