I totally agree with you. I own Honda Civic 2007 model and its making the same irritating sound over and over again when its raining. The risky thing is that it doesn't even clear the view so its really not possible to drive when its raining.
I am about to complain about this in the newspaper if the Honda people are not going to solve the problem soon.
