Dear sir,

I had bought a All in one scanner/printer/copier from HP. F4288 . Right from da1, the software didnt work, as even the PDF files scanning option was not functioning. So on contact, they said due some problem, we have to manually selct the file and load it. After having done, it showed the option. But the scanner only scans in one colour 300 dpi mode. When black/white, or greay scale mode is selected or lesser DPI is selected, the scanner scans BUT when saving application hangs up, giving error message " Application MS Scan application has crashed. My delaer also tried it on his computer, Vista and Xp version, but same problem.

What has shocked me, is the total lack of any concern of HP to give solution to this. All have been hearing from them that the matter has been escaleted to higher team, its been nearly one month now.

My case with HP is: service ticket number 8030930063 /CCHSAP242211 /CCHSAP244819.

But each time call up its same answer. Tried calling thier headoffice in Gurgaon, the phone is not answered only... The technical executives acknowledge that its a software problem and have had similar complaints, but its not in their hands to rectify/replace/refund my money, but higher team which never comes fwd.

Pls advise what action to take against such unprofesssional behaviour of this company.
