I own a Compaq Presario V3749AU which is under warranty. I gave it to the local HP service centre - Simtech Computronics P. Ltd. in Pune, India on 18th Dec. Its a month now yet, the service guys hav not been able to solve my problem. Everytime I have called, they have not even been able to give a proper reply for my problem. Twice I was told they received the part but it was wrong and hav re-ordered it. One occasion I was told there is a shortage of spares all over the country and the service engineer has mailed the Bangalore office to know the status. Even today (16th Jan '09) when I called I was told the concerned person whom I had spoken to earlier is on leave and the new guy I was directed to knew nothing about my case. And even after supposed 'checking the status' he could not help me. I am yet awaiting a positive response.
