My laptop computer is a bit on the heavier side and its hinges used to creak a little bit whenever i used to open or close the lid or screen. But, one day while closing the screen the hinges on the left side broke completely thereby leaving me with a severely deformed and damaged laptop. Since it lost its portability factor i wasn't able to carry it to my college or elsewhere. I decided to get it repaired at the nearest service centre but disappointment awaited me, as i was told that it would be treated as a case of intentional damage. I was shocked to hear that i would have to pay a premium of 7000 INR to get my laptop repaired which had been damaged due to its inherently weak parts and that too, in a normal usage scenario. Besides their ignorance I was not attended to properly at the service center. They didn't even handle my laptop carefully, trying to open and shut the lid which further damaged the hinges. I was completely annoyed by the rude behaviour of the service center executives. I would like to mention the service center under consideration here: RT Outsourcing Services Ltd, Chandigarh.
