Unjustified claim for payment

I am using HSBC Credit card from more than five years and so far they were providing excellent services.

However, I find their approach to customer has gone sea change and they have now started using methods to charge unjustified payment by any means.

Let me explain my situation...

- So far I was depoisting my payment to their deposit box with Chaq dated due date.

and faced no problem at all.

-I deposited chaque in their deposit box against their statement for January.

- They without looking at the date of the chaque deposited the chaque which got bounced and my banker charged me Rs. 67 for bounced chaq.

- Still more than a week was left for my due date but HSBC waited till date and called me just next day after due date to inform about bounced chaque and re-issue a new chaque. It was clearly informed by the lady who made the call on behalf of bank that no charges will be levied on me.

- I issued the chaque and same got credited to their account.

- But to my surprise they started charging Late payment and Financial charges and same started.

- I have stopped using their card and wants to settle with them in much better way.

- But there is no one who can reply from the bank.

Can you help me on this... Also is there any RBI rule on interest charges which these bank can charged by these bank.
