Wrong Debit to ATM Card

Dear Sir,

Yesterday evening to my utmost shock, I discovered that while I was using my personal ICICI ATM Card to withdraw money from an HDFC ATM outlet located below my office building at Trade Star on Andheri-Kurla Road, Andheri (East), The ATM Machine continously dispalyed a message "unable to process yuor transaction temporarily". On my fourth attempy I decline to withdraw. Through out my above attempts I was trying to withdraw Rs 5000/-

Having failed to withdraw the amount, I decided that I will use the Corporation Bank ATM close to mys house in I.C. Colony, Borivili (West). To my utmost shock and horror, my personal account showed me that there was a short account of Rs 20, 000/- in my account. On complaining to ICICI Bank they have given me a personal complain No SR114589405 and have committed to me to resolve the reverse deposit into my account within next 7 working days.

Sir, for a working class person like me, this kind of an error on the part of ICICI to allow HDFC ATM to debit my account wiht Rs 20, 000/- equally calculated based on my 4 attempts to withdrwar the money has left me in total shock. I dont know how I will be able to meet my expenses of the month. This is the second time my account has been shown a wrong balance. Earlier last month also there was a wrong balance shown and on my persistent attempts and frantic call wiht the bank they rectified the error.

Please help me recover my money from the bank into my personal account, My sincere request to help me out. I can also be contacted on my phone number in mumbai 9769481891.
