I have closed/settled my ICICI Bank Credit Card on 12th August by paying Rs.13, 000/- cash to the collector who came. He gave me a simple receipt of ICICI Bank, which I still have. He said the settlement letter will be provided to you by way of an email attachment in 2 working days. I have waited for 2 days and called the customer care as the guy who came to collect and the guy who made this settlement offer are not responding for my calls. The call center people told me it takes 7 working days not 2 working days. So i waited for another 5 days and called the call center again, this time they told me that money is deposited in my credit card account, but it is not against settlement but as a payment. I told them this is paid against the settlement of the card. For this they said they opened a request for settlement of the card and that an agency will call me for settlement. I told them that I have already made the settlement.
Later I have received Rs.13, 750/- in my ICICI Bank Savings account. This amount is blocked by the ICICI Credit Card department as outstanding payment.
I have called and emailed many times to the customer care, but of no use. I was given numbers to call, which obviously will not be answered. I tried tried and now I dont have stamina to call any more or wait anymore.
So I have now approached you for help. Please help me in getting my amount in the savings account refunded.
