PROLONGED DELAY IN OPENING A DEMAT ACCOUNT

I have applied for a DEMAT ACCOUNT with ICICI Securities Ltd. on 21 June through Mr. Mohd. Nazim (DMA). I have provided all the information required for opening the account and account opening fee cheque but still there is no sign of opening of the account till now.

On 30 June (as told by him proposed date when the account is functional), I called Mr. Nazim regarding this. He gave me some silly excuse and assured me that it will be done in 1-2 days more. When I called him again after 3-4 days, of course regarding the account, he gave me the number of Mr. Anand Shankar (Sales Manager). I have given the form no. 9002319968 as asked by him. He also assured me that within 2-3 more days the account will be opened surely.

Today, it is 9 July and still my account has not been opened. And the height is that none of the above persons are picking up the phones... to at least talk on the issue.

Please do the needful in this regard as soon as possible
