I HAVE TOOK ICICI LOMBARD HEALTH INSURANCE POLICY THROUGH PHONE ON MY CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT IN FEB, 08 AND THEY SAY YES YOUR DOCUMENT WILL BE FORWARDED TO U WITHIN 21 WORKING DAYS, IN MARCH WHEN NO DOCUMENT ARRIVE AT MY HOME I REQUEST TO CANCEL MY POLICY AND REQUEST NO IS 23030882 AFTER SOME DAYS I RECEIVE ONE PHONE CALL FROM ICICI MUMBAI BRANCH THE GIRL WAS TELLING ME THAT WHY U R CANCELING YOUR POLICY IF U CANCELed POLICY THIS TIME U HAVE TO PAY 1700/- RUPEE AS CANCELLATION CHARGES!!! FOR THIS REASON I TOLD HER TO CONTINUE MY POLICY AND send DOCUMENT OF POLICY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! SHE AGREES!!
IN APRIL I GOT FIRST EMI BILL OF POLICY WITHOUT ANY DOCUMENT!! AND DUE DATE WAS 20TH APR!! THEN I AGAIN ARRIVE BANK TO CONFORM THAT MY DOCUMENTS ARE NOT ARRIVED THOUGH I HAVE TO PAY BILL?? THEY TAKE REQUEST OF CANCEL MY POLICY BUT NOT TOLD ME TO SEND REQUEST OF CLOSE EMI!!! AND I REQUEST AGAIN TO CLOSE MY EMI AND REQUEST NO IS 100508795.
I HAVE PAY MY FIRST BILL!! BUT DUE DATE WAS GONE SO THEY GENERATE ONE BILL OF 1062/- SOMETHING!!
I WONT PAY THIS BILL!!
COULD SOMEONE LOOK INTO THESE MATTER OR I AM TAKING THESE TO CASE TO CONSUMER COURT NO MATTER WHAT.
AS I DON’T HAVE ANY PROOF OF WHETHER I TOOK IT OR CANCEL IT!!
