Change of Name

Sir,

I have recently changed my name. After completing all the formalities for the change of name, i wanted to get my 10th and 12th pass certificates reissued with my new name. But to my surprise the Head of School told me that there is no provision for any such change in the board.

i then found this document on the official site of CISCE (http://www.cisce.org/data/Syllabus for ICSE Regulations.pdf). It had this point in chapter IV.A.6.b.ii where it states that a person can get a certificate with changed name. Though the Head of School still maintains what he had said earlier.

i also found this form on the official site of CISCE (http://www.cisce.org/data/Download/DUPLICATEDOCUMENTAPPLICATIONFORM.pdf) which, i think has provisions for accepting a change of name.

Thus i request you to please help me out. Guide me in the proper direction of weather this can be done or not.
