I have AMC for IFB Washing Machine Model Executive Elite. A complaint was lodged with IFB customer care on toll free number as there was excessive noise from machine. The representative from their franchise M/s Perfect Cool Services reported after two days. The machine was rectified on hit & trial basis after 6 days. However after one day of operation only, it completely broke down on 18.01.2009. We have been contacting Perfect Cool Services since then on Phone nos. 022-28522233 & (M) 9322082831, but they have only been promising. Nobody has reported. We don't know what to do now?

We also feel that these big companies are exploiting consumers in the name of AMC. They appoint some small agency as service centre. Invariably the service centre representative would charge extra money during every visit on some pretext or the other (mostly against rubber parts, out of warranty service, etc)
