Degraded standard of servicing
1. i am a north indian based at coimbatore. i have a IFB ELENA 5kg washine machine.
2. My machine is not working for the last 10 days and is giving loud BANGING noise during operation..
3. After about more than 20 phone calls to the service centre and at the toll free number, finally a techinician came to see the machine.
4. The biggest problem is the language problem. the technician can not understand English or Hindi But understands and speaks only tamil because of which explaining things to him becomes impossible.
5. The techician had replaced one major component of the machine which in my wisdom was perfectly fine and working normally. inspite of my telling hime repeatedly that the problem is something else, he insisted replacing the part and theresfter went back.
6 As a result the machine is still giving the same problem and there is no improvement at all.
7. i was charged Rs1862/- for the new component.
8.My ticket number is 238245.
9. It is really very dissapointing and shameful to see such pathetic standards of servicing from a company that claims to be the pioneer of washing machines in India.
10. Henceforth, am going to advise all my near and dear ones not to go for any IFB product in future even if they are giving it free.
11. I am now planning to move to consumer forum of india for the redressal of my grievences.
