Income Tax refund Not received

Sir,

This is Vignesh from Chennai. My PAN Number is BDEPS0308H. I am yet to receive the income tax refund for the assessment year 2008. The refund amount is Rs.6281/-.

I have checked the status of the same in the refund status website and it says "Unable to process the refund due to MICR code". I have also submitted a request letter to the Income Tax Officer, Salary ward VI (4) stating my new bank details in the month of May.

I am yet to get the response from the I.T department. Can you please let me know what should be done to get my I.T refund.
