PAN card not received

Though the IT-Department web-site shows that my PAN-card has been despatched on 12-OCT by post, I am yet to receive my PAN-card. My application no. is 702386988 and coupon no. 020852028. I'm in serious problem without the physical evidence of the card. please help.
