No signature on the refund of IT in cheque

I had recieved a refund cheque for an amount of Rs 2, 040 FY 07 -08 (Rs Two thousand and forty only from income tax office AO code W 312-3SBI jalahalli branch, howvever when the cheque was deposited to my account in HSBC bank, th cheque was sent back stating that the Cheque not signed.

I have not got the money refunded, kindly request the concerned to send me a signed cheque and do the needful.

Shall forward the scanned copies of the cheque and reason for return from HSBC if requred.
