Correction of Date of Birth on PAN Card

Dear Sir

I have got issued my PAN card No. AOGPD8667L by Income tax Pan Services Unit, (NSDL) Mumbai with insertation of wrong date of Birth. Exact date of Birth i.e. 15.10.1980 should be mentioned on PAN card insead of 10.10.1980.

I have already submitted my original PAN card along required Matriculation certificate for the correction of my Date of Birth.

But i surprised to receive another letter issued by Income tax Pan Services Unit, (NSDL) seeking supporting document for correction of Date of Birth, whereas i have already submitted required DOB certificate.

Kindly check & arrange to issue my correct PAN card at the earliest.
