INCOME TAX REFUND
Income tax refund not received for the year 2008

Hi,

Please note that after filing ITR for the financial year 2008 in the year the ITR showed that a refund of Rs. 8828/- was to be made to me by the IT dept.

I have been following up with Aaykar Sampark Kendra through e-mails though I don't receive details on when would I get the refund.

After following up for a complete year I have almost given up and now its time for file the return for 2009 and I am with same feelings that if I have paid extra tax this year also, the IT dept. will not return me the extra amount even if my ITR would show that.

Please help me getting the extra paid tax's refund at the earliest.
