Indane cooking gas
Problem in booking lpg refill

Sir,

I am a consumer of indane gas with Bhagirathi Gas Service, Dayalpur, Delhi having consumer No. BG 25874.

Till recentlly, the agency had introduced a rationing while booking a refill. As per 'their' rule one could have booked a refill only after a gap of 21 days from the last date of booking.

Now, they have introduced perhaps 'stricter' rule that one can book a refill after 21 days from the date of delivery of the refill at your home. The fact is that they take 8 to 10 days in supplying the refill after the booking. Effectively, you can get a refill only once in 30 days in the first month. And in the second month, this gap widens to 40 days. Likewise, in the coming months in should be 50 days, 60 days, 70 days, 80 days, 90 days, 100 days and so on.

While I would like to request you for a redressal of the problem, I would also like to ask the IOC whether 'you have passed any such orders from your Mumbai headquarters', as the agency claims.

I cannot imagine whether the IOC could have given such a freehand to a gas agency--all in the public interest?

Shall be grateful if I could be blessed with a reply from your side.

Regards.
