Within the Govt. premises of GPO, Jaipur a private individual vendor is running his business table for packaging the parcels to be sent through Indian post. He is charging a heavy amount for packaging from general public, the lower level and middle level employees recommend the customer to go for packaging from that particular vendor.vendor says that he charges a high amount for packaging of parcels because he has to pay Rs.300 per day to the GPO staff which then allow him to sit in the premises, the cost of which has to be bear bitterly by the helpless people. If the parcel to be sent is to be packaged as per the norms set by Indian post then why there is no such facility of packaging is provided by the dept. itself on economical cost to its customers. Jaipur GPO is quite an important and in reach center situated in a developed city like Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan. Employees of Indian Post in this dept dnt think for welfare or service of their customers rather they are encouraging such unethical practices inside their premises taking the excuse of norms od Indian Post.where the customer is to approach..?? whom to question..??
