A couple of days back i was travelling with my family from nasik to mumbai in the Howrah Train later in the veneving at around 5.00 pm.
We saw couple of eunuchs coming in and asking for money forcefully. The amount was Rs.10.They were not ready to accept anything less than the said amount. Luckily they spared us as we were in couples.
But after an hour or 2, couple of them boarded the train again and started demanding money once again and even from us.
Can someone imagine, collecting Rs10 from each sitting in a boggie consisting 50-100 people that comes upto 500 to 1000 rs per day.
We are being charged for train service and above all as if we are paying Taxes to go to our destination.
Is this the reason we pay so much amount to travel in the train.
This is really irritating and discomforting.
Would really appreciate if this is stopped ASAP as these people even get physical at times.
