Indian Railway
Food quality

I traveled to Bangalore from Nizamuddin by train no 2650 in coach no S-5 on 22nd Sep and returned from Bangalore to Nizamuddin by the same train no 2649 in coach S-8. I took my lunch as well as dinner from the pantry and it was served by the Roop Caterers. The quality of food was average when I was traveling from Nizamuddin to Bangalore but it was worst when I was coming from Bangalore to Nizamuddin. Passenger were charged Rs 35 for veg meals but proper quantity of food was not served to them. No body was given water, curd and pickles. Everybody including me was served with less quantity of rice, vegetable and roti. I complained to pantry manager but he said he could not get this thing from the supplier today and the same answer was given when I was coming back while I found their waiter were selling curd at Rs 6 per cup and pickles at Rs 3 to some passenger on demand. As the passengers are paying right price for the food, the same should be served to the passengers.
