Dear Sir,
I booked two tickets for my wife and my daughter under Tatkal scheme for 2 AC sleeper from Ahmedabad to Howrah for April 25. I paid roughly a sum of Rs. 4550/- for two tickets in anticipation of a comfortable journey.
To my dismayy, I found that more than 75% of the 40 hours of journey the AC did not work due to technical reasons and the situation was immensely worse that there are no words to describe with AC not working, glass covered bogies, suffocation, and so on.
My wife and daughter had to pass a very horrible time during the journey.
Please note that I have spent very hard earned money for this tickets.
I claim the refund of the amount charged for 2 AC. Railway cannot charge for something which they have not provided and they are entitled to refund the charges realized under the pretext of AC coach in turn rewarding with immense hardles.
