Would like to surface my experience had from inidan railway would like to quote -ridiculous way of handling a stituation of fog by the railways. We feel that railways should alway take care for accidents but i presume the infomation should be available properly. no courtesy from the railway staff while inquiry. iwould suggest not to boost in political budget speeches that 139 & other numbers are opened for consumer facility. When call on 139 they had the same informtion which was update on interent (TOTALLY WRONG information updated on internet). I had to travel to Mumbai by Garib Rath on 22nd January by 15:40 p.m. Working in Gurgaon reaching Nizammudin station takes 2 -3 hours during traffic. when inquired on 139 & internet at 13:00 hrs i was told the train is on time whith no delay although online the reaching garib rath train from Mumbai was shown that it is schedule to arrive at 19:00 hrs at that moment. I went to the station costing 600/- bucks (as from gurgaon - nizzamuddin) on cabs ply. and had to return back from the station costing Rs 575/- when i came to know that it was reschedule for next day morning 6:35 hrs. When i tried to look online at 3:00 am they next day it was showing schedule deaprture at 6:35 hrs. i again reached the station spending 625/- bucks at arounf 4:00 in the mroning as had to start early for fog situation paying addtional night charges. upto 6:00 hrs the schedule was 6:35 hrs and then we came to know that the train has not yet arrived as the same rack is to be sceduled back to mumbai. it was annouce now that it will depart at 12:00 hrs IST. Indian railways dont at all work logically. they dont care for the consumers problem the tarin started finally at 13:00 hrs which was 21:50 hrs late than schedule. I dont understand why this kind of services are given. why cant proper information can be provided.
When returning back i have to travel to New delhi thru August Kranti rajdhani 2953 on 27th January. When inquired 139 they could not again give a proper response today at this time 27th August 01:40 p.m. i am not knowing the exact timing when my train will depart.
DOES THE RAILWAY WANT PEOPLE TO SUFFER SETAING AT RAILWAY STATION OR CAN SOMETHING CAN BE DONE
