Part shipment and poor customer response

I had purchased two products (Gift voucher for Rs 5000/-) and a cake and red roses through one order. This was meant to be a birthday gift to a relative. The company delivered Gift voucher after a rigourous follow up for 15 days. There was no update of the shipment / delivery or any feedback in the meantime. The second order (cake and red roses) which was to be delivered on a birthday has not been delivered for 45 days.

I have been tired of sending emails ([email protected]) and following up with customer service number 9910118888 but there has been no update or resolution.

Everytime you call customer service number you are made to wait for atleast 30 minutes before someone answers and everytime the process of knowing full history starts. The call centre executives have no way to check the history or status of the complaints (or past emails) and they end up promising to revert with a resolution but needless to add, no one reverts.

The service levels are hopeless and it is a serious cheating of customer going on by a company of this repute. I am wondering what are the consumer authorities doing? They are quick to debit customer account and confirm your order, but after that customer is left to the mercy of Almighty for delivery of the goods.

Strictly a no no for online shopping!
