On repairs complaint my aquaguard water purifier was attended by the authorised dealer M/s Sai leela, the technician informed me that the PCB is not working and it will cost you Rs.800/- for replacement with a rectified PCB (it means an old repaired PCB) and it I want a new PCB the cost will be Rs.1800/-. I requested him to just replace the spare part of the PCB that is not functioning, so that the cost of repairs to me will be less. I called upon the boss of M/s Sai leela, who informed me that the cost of new PCB would be Rs.2, 500/-. I was surprised to note that the boss says Rs.2, 500/- and his employess says 1, 800/-. I decided to ask M/s Eureka forbes the rates. The company informed the rates as under.
For replacement of rectified PCB the rates are Rs.700/- all inclusive and for new PCB the rates are Rs2, 160/-. This clearly shows that the authorised dealers are cheating the customers. on contacting the company and informing the details about the case the company says the dealer is right. I want to know if the dealer is right then why the company is fixing the rates when it is not followed by the dealers. Instead it should have instructed the dealer to charge the rates prescribed the company. It clearly indicates that the company is cheating its customers indirectly.
