Leaking multiple valve

I purchased a Water softener from the Worlds No.1 co. in this

feild only to find that after 19 months of purchase the multiple valve has broken & has to be replaced. What about the quality

of components you use or you are simply putting your stamp

& making a killing of the brand name you enjoy.
