Sub:- Double Charges against one Transaction ID

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is with reference to transaction failure when I had tried to book an E-Rail ticket through my HSBC Credit Card dated 18-12 but due to connection failure, the transaction had not been completed and no transaction ID generated.

After that I had tried to book an E-Rail ticket with my SBI Credit card and that transaction had been successfully done and ticket had been booked from GWL to NK for journey 14-01 with transaction ID – 0082616423 and IRCTC debited my SBI card with amount of Rs. 2026.84. But when I checked my HSBC card account and found that IRCTC also debited the amount Rs. 2062.47 under transaction date 18-12 .

Since there was only one transaction (ID- 0082616423) done on 18-12 then how it would be possible to debit both the card on one transaction id.
