Refund of ticket

Dear Sir,

I was supposed to travel by Purshottam express from Tatanagar on 18th of Feb'09 having PNR 6224024320 . Since the train got delayed by more than 3 hours, hence I was forced to travel by another train.

As per the rules of IRCTC, if any trains are getting delayed by more than 3 hrs then they will refund the ticket amount after filing the TDR.

After filing the TDR and various followups they have responded us as below:

Sorry for the inconvenience. Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No. 6224024320 has been forwarded to CCM/Northern Railway on dt.20.02.09. We have already issued Reminder No. 1 dt.30.06.09 to concerned railway to chase up the case. But despite reminder refund yet not received from the concerned railway. Now we are sending a Reminder No. 2 dt. 16.08.09 with all the papers pertaining to your refund case to concerned railway to chase up the cases. As soon as refund, if any, received it will be credited to your card account..

This extraordinary delay is causing huge headache and putting strain on me.
